All of you people are idiots.

Ever heard of the designer? Robert Zeff did other things before he started Zapco.

I've seen used "Z" and "studio" series for sale, and they're worth every penny. Robert Zeff really poured his heart out into those designs. A quick thought is the ZPA series from Phoenix Gold...another AMAZING amplifier...anyway, Zeff's since gone to do some of the Arc Audio stuff, which is nice. The new C2K series are quite different on the inside than the "Z" series though.

Sorry Jim, going to have to agree with everyone else. That is not a Zapco amplifier, it is a Phoenix Gold amplifier, and should be properly noted as such. Robert Zeff's company has had a hand in designing Clarion amplifiers. It wouldn't be proper for us to label those as Zapco amplifier's aswell, simply because of the designer.

Even then, I'm personally not completely certain if Zeff was the designer behind the ZPA series or not. The ZPA series are indeed bad-*** amplifiers, and that amplifier would be a great amp for anybody who buys it. The ZPA series are still highly regarded by everybody as very well constructed, solid amplifiers.

But either way, that's not a Zapco amplifier as indicated.

Regardless of what kind of amplifier it is, those posts should have been PM'ed and not posted here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I know who Robert Zeff is, but in reference to the title "rare zapco amp", thought whoever was buying it should know they're not really getting an amp with a Zapco title, although it is a beast of an amp. Either way, that auction is illegal to begin with since the seller is attempting to circumvent the final value fees. If I were you, I'd tell him to shove it and you're going to either pay one penny for the amp, or ebay will ban his account.
