Tune it to where it sounds good for you.

To get a good start, go to a shop with an RTA and have them tune your system... Marginal cost usually, like $40.

 
do as jlaine said start off with pink noise get close flat line response then take a few musical cd's and achieve the sound you are looking for...iasca discs are great cause they come with a lil booklet that tells you what to listen for...and get a good refference system such as a home set up...

 
I was thinking somewhere along those lines. Just wondering if there was a way I could cheat problem is the dB level on the tracks because they're not all the same and not all of the tracks are noise free bleh ah well I'll work it out I guess.

 
the importance of the rta is to give you a STARTING balance i agree a flat liner isnt the greatest thing but it assures you of not haveing major holes... your ears cant refference that singlely and not all music will display weaknesses in this
