It does happen from time to time. However, the Taco Bell situation is a myth and not true.
However, it is highly possible like other myths that some one heard that myth and then attempted to remake the myth there self.

I promise you I live in the "real world", more so then most.

To be honest this was exact myth was discussed with in the first week of that class.

So to answer your question again more simply. Yes, things like this "can" happen. However, 99% of the time do not actually happen. The vast majority of the stories passed around about food issues and such are simply myths started for various reasons some time ago. Some are even adjusted to be better suited for the current times rather then years ago.

Agreed most are just myth's but those 1 or 2 are enough to make any myth worth believing cause you never know..

Very true, I have seen some very shady stuff over the years. To be honest most was over seas though. Here the states people are a bit scared of the laws that safe guard the customers I think. No one likes jail lol.

I agree cameras are everywhere now so must think twice before they do dumb stuff now but every now and then we get that one stupid person and it makes life just that much more funnier..

Maybe it is just me being a libertarian, but what does it matter if somebody wants to hurt themself. It is their body and brain they are damaging. If they are responsible enough to do it where they aren't bothering anybody, who are they hurting. For something to be crime it needs a victim, who other than the user gets hurt from meth, X, or herion. If they stay behind closed doors and take part their DVD player, dance to bad music, or puke in trash can, who are they hurting?

Here is thought to ponder. Fining somebody for ******* is BS. The government is telling you that you don't even own your own body. They fine you because you damaged their property. They only care because that is lost revenue because they make more off your alive paying taxes.

I don't do drug. Alcohol and nicotine are all the controled substances I have taken part in besides some prescribed antibotics and Hydro Codone when I had my wisdom teeth cut out. I don't enjoy the feeling of losing control of myself. I just don't feel I have the right to tell others what they can do with their bodies.
