Ask this again, then search for said proof other then "hear say". Do not however, come back with internet or news paper articles. They do not show proof of anything, however, legal documentation can be looked up to verify the story.

It does happen from time to time. However, the Taco Bell situation is a myth and not true.

However, it is highly possible like other myths that some one heard that myth and then attempted to remake the myth there self.

I promise you I live in the "real world", more so then most.

To be honest this was exact myth was discussed with in the first week of that class.

So to answer your question again more simply. Yes, things like this "can" happen. However, 99% of the time do not actually happen. The vast majority of the stories passed around about food issues and such are simply myths started for various reasons some time ago. Some are even adjusted to be better suited for the current times rather then years ago.
