So, my system is powered by a RF-R2 300x4 and R21200x1. 1/0 ofc to a block and 4 gauge ofc to amps. Grounded with 1/0 OFC off a block. My stock alternator is rated 270amps peak with a minimum of 170. No big 3 yet, it's on the list. Question, when I really push it the peaks drop my voltage to 12 for a second but it instantly recovers to 14. Will the big 3 fix this or do i need another battery as well? Will this draw on my electrical cause problems as it is or am I ok till I get the big 3 done?

The reason it dips then recovers is because there is a delay between when your amps start to draw current and when your alternator ramps up to supply more current. The solution is more battery storage to provide current before your alternator ramps up. I don't think big 3 is necessary, but it won't hurt anything if you want to do it just for fun.

What kind of subs are you running? Any pics of the system?
2-10" sundown Sa classics wired to 1 ohm. RF birthsheet said 1497 watts at 1 ohm. Pushing it hard it barely gets warm, love the prime amps, good bang for your buck.

Fox Acoustics box, didn't really have many other choices in my budget but it does well with the 10's. Nevermind the messy wire, I cleaned it up!
