Raise back seat of F-150?

I've heard folks talking about it before but cant find brackets or anything

Once upon a time, anyways, I was told that you could get 2-3" of lift on the back seat of the next generation F-150's. Just picked one up and looking to raise the back seat and now I cant find shit

Anyone any clue?

Also heard you just switch the brackets around butttt not sure about that, it's a 60/40 seat not a bench so I'd imagine it wont work

On my friend 05 or 06 f150 he thought the same thing but couldnt find a supplier for the brackets, people on the boards had pics of mounts and such.

We simply took the whole seat out of the car, ground off the 2 or 3 spot welds holding the oem bracket together and extended 4 of the mount atleast 3"

Only thing we never thought about is that the seat wouldnt fold down anymore cause the bottom was up so high, tons of headroom still though probly could have gone higher

just modify the oem if that an option and you have a welder or access to one

Nevermind, found it off the website none the less. Thanks for the link :)
155 bucks shipped for effing 2.5" of extra clearance? JESUS lol
it is nothing more then some longer bolts and nylon or steel spacers. 100% a do it yourself type job.

I went to home depot and bought some nylon spacer and long bolts and called it a day. about 15 bucks in parts and it worked great. now i have cut out the back seats all together but at first this was what i did.

just remove the seats and you will see what needs to be done.

Ten four I gotcha

I honestly want to wall her off with four 18's, but i'm not 100% that I have enough room

And I **** sure dont have enough money

With the seat the way it is, I'm afraid I sitll wont be able to do my four 8's under the seat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Pics of the setup as it sits now, if you dont mind?

And with the seat customed as you did

when fully gutted in the back you have enough room for about 20 cubes without much effort.

i'm not sure if i have a pic of before i took out the seats. that was a few years ago and i have changed laptops a few times since loosing pics in the process. here is a link to a video i made not to long ago that shows how it sits now..
