SOLD Rainbow Subwoofer and amplifier

Have a brand new Rainbow SW 300 E SLC subwoofer 12 inch single 4ohm. $125 plus the ride

Recommended for small enclosures. Nominal power handling 40-180 watts. Peak power handling 300 watts. xmax 18mm. Chrome Basket. Still in box with all paperwork.

Rainbow MPA 4.75 amplifier. $200 plus the ride.

4 x 75 @ 4ohms, 4 x 140 @ 2ohms, 2 x 280 @ 4ohms bridges, or 2 x 75 @ 4ohms/2 x 140 @ 2ohms and 1 x 240 @ 4ohms.

Amp was used to push a set of rainbow slc265's actively. Comes with owner's manual and spec sheet (some in german). Guaranteed in full working order.

Also, do you know if the amp is underrated at 4 x 75 @ 4ohms, or is that actual regulated power output?

cyber, do you(or anyone else) know if that amp is underrated in output power? Or do you actually get 75 watts rms per channel?

I cannot say definitively that it produces more than rated specs. The only to do that is to actually have it benched, and that is beyond my means and talents.

However, from my understanding and things I have read and heard however, yes these amps are under-rated.

From my personal use, they certainly pushed my slc265's, which call for 100w rms, my components were crisp and definitely were never lacking or wanting for more power.

to run a set of 2 way components and a single 12" sub, and it is definitely underated. Actual power at 12V test is just over 100x4.
