Rainbow germ help plz.

I plan on getting the germs for my car.

In the future if i wanna make it a 3 way how would i do it??

i was thinking getting a 4ch amp.

1 and 2 ch for the germs

3 and 4 ch for the midbass ( for example DAYTON RS180-4 7")

the amp is a arc audio 4150XXk

this is not going to be a true 3way with 6ch of amping.

any ideas?

PS. im going to have the germs in the stock location in the doors and the DAYTON in a kick panel. good idea??

Why not a 465.25 Germ set? That be sick mid-bass. Once I got mine perforing right I was simply amazed by the mid-bass just the 265.25 puts out.

well if you are going to do a 3 way front stage? why not got a dedicated midrange such as a 4" midrange to fit in the kicks along with the tweets? you can buy the rainbow cs210 for example, run those in kicks along with the passive and buy a dedicated midbass of your choice.

I think with your plans youll get alot of overlapping issues. If your still utilizing the Germ crossover And adding another midbass youd be overwhelmed with midbass and lack midrange detail a bit. Unless your going quite high on the pass to the germ set, but that would defeat the use of the midbass in the set. Like Alphakenny said..just do a dedicated midrange. Or a 4" set and choose your midbass driver.

I think you will be suprised with midbass of the germs if installed properly. Mine actually overpowered my sub/amp combo and I am only feeding them 75 watts each.

going 3 way is something i might do in the future.

I just wanted to know if it can be done. Without spending alot of money.
