rainbow cmx series??

I have been going back and forth on which rainbows to get, but i never hear anything about the cmx series. alot of people talk about the germs and i have heard alot about the slc "kick", But what about the cmx "kick" it looks just as good on paper as the germs only difference i can see is the tweets?

they are loud clear clean ,not harsh but bright i would say.I like em better than the SLC's some older progressive rock i listen to sounds awesome. Classic rock and some alt country sound pretty good. I'm also considering the Germs and Vans I don't think htey would be quit as bright as the Cmx's. I'm looking at Focal k2p but only if the price is right. The cmx's are my fallback set,if I decide to spend less.

yeah it sounds like more people shoule like these i'm just confused about all the hype over the slc's, because if they sound great and the germs are better than them the dang cmx's should be crazy sweeet!

They are great speakers. A lot of people would like them, but the SLCs are so popular because of price. They have a high performancerice ratio.

The CMX's are very nice. Very clean. I haven't heard any of their other lines but I love mine. Much cleaner and better midbass than my Hex's I had before. In my opinion for the price you can't go wrong.

i know this but what besides price makes them different? how does the sound compare? the only difference i see is the tweeter and the price. but i want to know if the sound is so different that i need to wait and get the germs or go ahead with the cmx's.
