OK guys...

I would like to build a system using Rainbow equipment to show that, even using the factory locations, a great sounding system can be built at an affordable price...

Currently I am considering the following lines:

SLC

Germanium

ProFi's

What would you suggest to install in the OEM doors of a 2004 F150 Reg. Cab ?

SLC Kicks BNIB for $280's the way to go, and give them 150w a side to make open them up right.

and yes buy the SLC's for "affordable". you cant get much better for the price.

The Kick version has approximately 1.5 times more midbass response than the normal SLC version.

Assuming 2way, SQ first and foremost....Profi Phase PLug or Profi Vanadium Phase plug is my recommendation.

I feel that ALL these speakers are affordable... with the SLC and the Germanium being the most...

I am most interested in what models would be best suited for an Off-Axis location...

Yea I thought if you look at the specifics on most sites that sell them, it says they just produce better midbass...

2-way OR 3-way....

either would be mounted in the doors though...
