hey whats a good radar to buy. Lately cops around here are all over the place. On the news they say some cops are dressing up as normal folks and cutting grass, then hit you with a radar gun to catch speeders. So i need a good radar brand and I don't want anything thats 3-4 hundred bucks just something reliable.

It's only going to tell you when your about to be pulled over. Don't waste your money, unless you are looking into a Valentine1 or Phantom. Both of the above are more than $300.

Radar Detectors. Long time discussion on here, and you will hear it from everyone. You get what you pay for. Valentine 1 and Escort/Passport x50 8500 is the top to you are going to find along with the new 9500 but it's 500.00. But those first 2 are the top of the line and the only ones I would trust. Valentine is about 475. new, x50 is about 325. new. I can get you a used one shoot me a pm with how much your looking to spend etc.

Valentines have a good resale and go for around 260. - 280. used, X50 blue display goes for around 200. used, and X50 red display goes for about 175 used. Too bad you didn't hit me up not long ago, I got in a money situation and sold a X50 for $120. bucks. You won't find anything like that anywhere, but I come across them everyonce in a while, but the next 5 are sold out to a member on here.
