i did just the raammat, then the ensolite. seemed to me like the raammat killed the resonance of the metal outer shell of the car, made the bass sound a lot more solid.
the ensolite mostly just insulated against outside sound. helped just a tad with the stereo but made a big difference in road noise.
...and that's exactly how it's supposed to work.I just finished matting my car with Raamat (2006 WRX) and even with the mat alone the car got much quieter. Waiting for better weather to finish her off with ensolite.
Raamat is very pliable, easy to work with, sticks very well (too well) to everything, easy to "shape" into any bends/crevices/etc.
From my own research and opinions of many others it seems to be a great product (many call it as good as Dyna...) and the cost is sustantially lower than many other products, especially Dyna...
Now,
If anyone is interested in the product, please contact Rick (from Raamaudio) directly first (don't just go and place an order online) and reference my name and NASIOC. You
will (most likely) receive a 10-15% discount on all of your purchases. NASIOC is a huge Subaru community/forum where Rick from Raam is a memeber and regulary provides discounts to all memebers (I've saved over 50$ by now). He's a class act and you'll be amazed with customer service at Raamaudio.
If you mention this site and the purpose of it I can bet that Rick will sign up and at least introduce himself here. He has a welth of knowledge, experience and he's willing to help everyone with their projects (not just with products, but ideas/advice/etc).
...so, from personal experience with the product, the company, and the people behind it I give Rick and Raamaudio a perfect "10" score.
