R 15 box... in a hatch, help

am designing a new box for my R... i've decided that a tuning of 32 would be ideal... but would 3 cubes be ideal?

also... i have a hatch... so would sub on top and port firing back be ideal, or would port firing up toward the glass be better?

I don't want any cancelation, but the if the port fired up it would have over a foot of clearance

id pick option 3, what kind of hatch is it? can you fit a box that high almost all the way to the back and still close the hatch?

Id pick sub up port to the back of hatch.

Can you go any bigger? IMO, I'd go with 3.5+ ft^3
