"Quality power" alternator

I need a high output alternator for my car (09 lancer 2.4L). I asked mechman and he doesn't make one for my car. I found this alternator online, 445$ for 200amp alt. Does anybody know if this is a good alternator, or of any other companies that make a good alt.

If it has "Quality" in the name... it's probably crap. I've never heard of them, and that is a pretty steep price. I also wouldn't buy a Mechman alt.

Look into Ohio Generator, Nations Electric, DC Power, Excessive Amperage, and Singer Alts. I've never used any myself, just done lots of reading.

why would you pick the 140, when there's a real size available..... my stock alt puts out more... and I'm upgrading it...

The Company seems legit. They carry vehicle specific alts, not "one size fits all" like some others. They are very expensive though. At least the sell Odyssey batts to match them up with, which is a very good indication of quality. Not to mention their other product line is Powermaster....again, a very good indicator of quality. I would not hesitate to buy, other than price. You might find a better deal on a bigger alt elsewhere.

honestly alternators are pretty expensive regardless of where you look. my dc power 220a cost me right around 380 for my honda civic. being a newer car and probably a lil more difficult i would expect to pay at least that much
