I have a pair of Infinty Kappa 4x6 speakers. I took a study break to put them in the dash of my 92 silverado pickup... And I noticed there is no "cavity" to speak of... The dash is wide open, I can reach in and put my hand out the hole. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
Is this considered infinite baffle? Will this allow for proper speaker performance? It sounds okay- no bass response though, just "miff" bass. My friend has similar ones in the door of his ranger and they POUND for little speakers.
Problem is the kappas barely fit- i had to wedge them in with a screwdriver against a platic heating duct, so there is no room for a baffle type construct.
Advice?
