mine are sittin at a little under a half. with the loudness on there is no distortion and everything seems just to be lol i was just wondering if it was bad for the subs themselvesdepends how u set ur gains. everyone around here i know that competes in basswars and stuff uses it
idk if ur saying they use it just in competitions or daily also.. but people probably use it competitions a lot because its not going to hurt the sub that much doing it for a short period of timedepends how u set ur gains. everyone around here i know that competes in basswars and stuff uses it
if u dont hear the sub bottoming out then ur fine... turn the bass up to as high as you like to and put your ear right next to the sub.. if u hear a clapping or smacking sound then it is bottoming out.. turn the volume down until you dont hear it anymoremine are sittin at a little under a half. with the loudness on there is no distortion and everything seems just to be lol i was just wondering if it was bad for the subs themselves

bull shit. Its up to the user on how they set their system up. There is more than one way of doing it right. If you have to use it, then your system either sucks or needs some dialing in.
