Last time I checked, there wasnt 7 second Tbirds....
I ran a 14.2 totally stock 4600lb car with 200,000mi on it. I would say that is pretty **** good. Considering I have yet to see a GN with that kind of mileage even on the road.
BTW...my car has the original engine and original ******. Never been modded or rebuilt.
Now if memory corrects me, the GN of 86-87 ran a 13.8 stock. Back in 86-87! I don't need a turbo to go fast. I don't need an exhaust to go fast. I have true duals from the factory.
Flame someone who has as many mods as you do for going 14 in the quarter, not someone who has taken a luxury barge down the track and turned a 14. Way to go Tbird! Good Time!

Your car is slow dude, thats fine, but dont think 14 sec is amazing... Hell the LT1's did low 14's stock,and we consider them slow, so regardless if you are in the fam or not, 14 sec stock or not, is slow.
Although, I highly doubt you can have a 10 sec Tbird that you can drive to and from the track, and still get over 20+mpg... Hell,theres a 9.0 TR that looks completely stock, and is streetable.
As for high mileage GN's...you really dont know much about GN's do you? Theres a 170,000mile 12.1 car, mine has 150,000 on it and its a mid 12 car, a 200,000mile car that runs low 11's...and thats just in our local club...
Stock block,and some stock ******. Run 11's on your stock block with 200,000 miles and get back to me.
