I currently drive a jeep grand cherokee. it has a 5.2 v8 motor, and this thing is actually really fast. ive won my fare share of races against cars i thought would kill a jeep.

Im kind of getting off the big jeep suv deal, and im looking into a sporty car. Im very opposed to "ricers", but i kind of like some imports. I want a small sporty stock car that is fast, and can handle well. $10k or under. what kind of cars are out there in my criteria.

serch for a 300zx very quick. and has a nice size hatch for a system.. integra GSr's are decent but insureence is expensive for them tho.eclipse gst/gsx, i cant think of anymore ill post em as i think of them

Eclpise GSXs are still in the $13-16k range, I checked them out before I bought my Lancer. Some of the newer Ralliart Lancers are real nice. They only have about 160hp, but their suspension and transmission gearing make up for it. Most people on the Lancer forum found that they get better mileage with bolt-on mods too. I second the suggestion you look at a nissan 300zx. I miss RWD.

IMO, those cars are unbelievable ugly, the older MR-2s (i think thats what they are) are way better looking cars

if it were me with those criteria, i'd get an F-body, LT1 = teh hotness, dont know if you could get an LS1 car that cheap unless it had quite a bit of mileage
