It isn't just based on that. It's a large legal discussion which has been going on for a while. You honestly need to research and look it up for yourself to form your own opinion. That way you leave out any biased opinions from any of us.
Personally I would love to see Obama prove me wrong and make this country better but I just do not see it happening. His motives, ideologies, stance on critical issues and attitude show me that chances are he will do nothing.

I actually supported Obama before I saw a certain commercial. In the commercial Obama himself states he supports second amendment rights. This was a bold face lie and "smack" to my face. I believe the main reason Obama has left the gun industry alone currently is because since his nomination much less his becoming POTUS sales have gone up between 300%-500% if not more. Messing with this would further deteriorate our economy.

Yes and we should all research it by reading all the same bias stories that you have. We should all put on our tin foil hats and prance around **** together.

It is based on him NOT being born in Hawaii according to Phillip J. Berg and even if he was he had his name changed to Barry Soetoro and was either acknowledged or adopted by his step father. Thing is according to records that no lawyer could find Barry never went back to Immigrations to reinstate his US citizenship which he would HAVE to do. To beat that he went back over to Pakistan and Indonesia in 1981 and some believe he did so as a citizen of Indonesia (he was 19 then and that is also relivent). There is a lot there which is why I said look it up...maybe I should have said look up the laws and what they were accusing him of????:laugh:In any rate as stated many times by all of his accusers it would be easy to disprove IF Obama was in the right and all he is doing now is spinning his wheels and wasting money and time for MANY including himself. He hides A LOT of stuff....unlike everyone he ran against LOL He whined about health records and taxes and he provided the least! The stories are out there by the very people who are pressing the charges. Read up. Berg even states where when and how Obama will dodge the cases but as they work their way up the court system it will EVENTUALLY have to be answered to. What is also funny when he went to see his dying grandmother (not that I think that it is funny she died mind you) when he came back from Hawaii he had another document to be posted online and rumor has it that the document was photo chopped and they believe it was his sisters certificate. They say they can prove this with a hex editor that proves the document was photo chopped. For something VERY easy to proof why is Obama letting rumors float? It is not good for the country. If we whine about our Civil Liberties how can we crap on the Constatutional laws? Do you think it would be ok for them to amend the laws after the fact?

I think a good number of these cases have been dismissed on the grounds the plaintiffs (ordinary citizens) lack "standing" to challenge a presidential candidate's qualifications in court and I expect that to continue.

As far as the photoshop "issue" that was addressed in that factcheck article. Again, I don't know for sure they are to be believed but I tend to think that is the case.

As far as some people thinking that he traveled as an Indonesian citizen while he was an adult, is that pure speculation?

What I read about the Indonesian issue had to do with him being required to claim (by proxy through his father) Indonesian citizenship in order to attend the school he attended there. Supposedly this claiming of Indonesian citizenship then would have (allegedly) invalidated his U.S. citizenship. Is it a technicality? Yes. Does it matter to me? No, not really... but then, as someone who has spent many thousands of dollars and much time and heartache following the Immigration laws of the United States, it does irritate me when people are given a pass on them, whether a US Presidential candidate or an illegal alien farm worker.

Yeah, that's what I understand the claim to be. But from the statute that I cited I don't see how there was an event whereby he would have lost his citizenship. Unless I am just missing it, I see nothing that allegedly occurred that falls under any of the enumerated ways for a dperivation of U.S. citizenship.

You are going to have be more specific. I have no idea what parts you are talking about.

The thing is, there is a specific procedure, mandated by law, for checking ID's on alcohol purchases. Did Obama fail to abide by a specific law that states candidates must provide birth certificates and that such birth certificates must be provided in a certain manner?

Yup but what really gets me is retards sit around for YEARS saying how corrupt some politicians are yet those same people do not care if "their" guys are known to be corrupt as hell. We just got done swearing in a Secretary of Treasury who didn't pay taxes for 4 years and was allowed to pay them after he found out he "could be getting the job". He didn't even have to pay penalties! If it would have been you or I instead of paying 34k we more than likely be looking at 50+k easy. What is even more sad is that asshat will be overseeing the IRS. We have congressmen who write the freaking tax codes who cheat on their taxes and are dismissed as "accidents", again not having to pay ANY penalties. Same guy used the US congressman's parking garage to store an extra car for an extended period of time illegally. Then we have congressmen who are on the banking and finance committees that had gay lovers working at the very institutions that needed oversight. Not only did they not give over site they argued that everything was totally fine even up to less than 50 days before the whole thing crashed. Then we have senators who used their position on a finance committee to help land an illegal sweetheart deal on some mortages...that guy was ordered 6 months ago to produce his mortgage papers and as of yet has not complied.

Funny part is these guys are all called "financial geniuses" and they all had leadership roles in our government as this financial meltdown occured. Not only did they make their own little personal tax/financing messes but they all STRONGLY argued that deregulated financial institutions were all A OKAY:laugh: If they would have been in management for a business they would have been fired not even counting their legal problems which would have also been with their place of employment.

With Obama's past being checkered, his refusal to show the certificate, his actions as of late, and just the level of shadiness that Obama puts off would definitely be grounds for questions.

There is also a case right now saying that Hilary Clinton is not eligible to be Secretary of State.

Read the same stories I'm reading? I've read the lawsuit(s), articles on Obama's history, travels, etc. I've read sites that support Obama and sites that don't. If I tell you to research and find the info myself then I'm not directing you to any of my "biased" material.

Because legally, you do not have the standing to challenge it. I am not sure how or why it works this way, but people/citizens do not have the "standing" to legally challenge it. Perhaps someone with more legal expertise can explain this.
