So what if blacks tend to vote Democrat? People can't change their mind? There was also a much larger turn out then in past years by black votiers. The biggest talk about Obama by black people was "A black president".

Ever pay attention to the numerous random interviews done on the street of people who were voting Obama but knew absolutely nothing about his stances. They supported McCain's stances when they were associated with Obama and disliked Obama's stances when associated with McCain.

Read the same stories I'm reading? I've read the lawsuit(s), articles on Obama's history, travels, etc. I've read sites that support Obama and sites that don't. If I tell you to research and find the info myself then I'm not directing you to any of my "biased" material.

Yeah, when you look at the figures there really is not a large difference in percentage, and the increase in turnout is not as great as I expected either.

Furthermore, I really would not blame blacks for being excited about a having a black president -- which many, if not most, Americans thought would not happen in their lifetime.

There were only a few points difference between the black vote percentage for Bill Clinton versus the percentage that voted for Obama. Given the massive ill feelings toward the republicans this last cycle its no surprise that more people voted dem this last cycle, including black percentage.

actually he didnt do much of anything if you want to be technical...one of the main reason's my cousin didn't vote for him //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif he would have voted for Ron Paul or Barr before he would have voted for the Obamanator. After the primaries were over he flipped the script. Nothing to do about race nor color more to do with the agenda and he even wants a health care system...he also knew that there would be a big pork filled worthless stimulus plan on the DNC side before the election ever took place. Fact of the matter of how the stimulus was first presented did not bode well for Obama being his "own man"he is at least 200 billion off and needs to do MORE for the private sector...as he sits now he is another Jimmy Carter fighting a war (has had attacks into Pakistan where innocent civilians died) and wants too spend more than Carter...His stimulus is pretty risky as well as it is a good bit slow and in most likelyhood lose them a few seats in congress....and if it takes 3+ years to start showing signs of working he would be a 1 hit wonder....His cabnet members are pretty crappy and according to Joe Biden are not very patriotic.
