" big 3 ?? " amp wire size ?

Hi i have an saz 1500 and a sax 100.4 I was thinking about doing the big 3

is it ok to use 4 ga. ?

and when i run the power wire to the back of my truck for the amps should i run 0 ga. and if i do 0 ga to the junction should i run a 4 ga to each amp from there or just run 0 ga all the way ?

also you think a 1800 battery is good enough or should i get a 2400 " i am running 2 compressors for my air bag system " and im going to get a 130 amp alternator

If you want to get the best i would get 0 gauge welding cable, otherwise if you looking for minimum for your setup i would get 2 gauge but make sure its copper!

You want the same size wire in your Big 3 set up as you are running from amp to disto block. I also agree with yousing the 1/0 welding cable it has a nice heavy jacket and is designed for Hi-current application. Un-like audio cable the welding cable is manufactyred according to the National Electrical Code and has to follow the requirements of them.

1500D has 1/0 inputs. If you use welding wire get 2/0 = same size at 1/0 car audio wire....
