quick wiring question?

i have 2 dual 1 ohm subs each sub is wired in parrallel to give a .5 ohm load then i have both of the subs wired together to the amp..(only one amp being used currently)

will stay at .5 ohm goto .25 ohm or 1 ohm?

you put them in parallel you got .25

oo ok..how much rise you think it'll go to? .4 or so?

and is it possible to wire one sub in series and the other in parrallel to get 1.25 ohm?

i know SHIT about impedance rise, no offense.

as for the 2nd part it will show the correct load to the amp, but the sub wired lower will see more power

Yeh you could wire them diff, but than one sub would be gettin more power and other would get less

It would be gay, just do 1ohm

What amp do you have? Not many, if any, play .25 daily. Burp sure but I wouldn't daily it that low

one of my hk401sx's has a RCA problem and i took it out to get it fixed so i went ahead and hook up 1 of my hk401sx's and it seems its just as loud with one amp and yes i was playing it last nite with no problems..my dmm isnt reading it so i cant get a correct reading either..
