quick question

right now i have two 12's and soon im going to build a custom box and amp rack and stuff and i was wondering if i could put two 8's in my trunk too. would it sound alright with the 2 12's or is that a bad idea?

Decide.

Either the 12's, or the 8's. Not both.

exactly what frost said. If you have the two 12's in a proper enclosure you won't need the 8's....if you are set on using both of them use the 8's for a front stage application.

but this is entirely dependant on what the drivers in question are, what the other speakers are in the car (component set???) and what kind of crossover/eq'ing ability you have
