quick question

i just hooked up my friends system and his amp only works if he has his radio on. if he try to put a cd in or something then the amp turn off. what would cause this?

ayyy thanks i say blue and just hooked it up.

a lotta times they are both blue. one will have a white strip on it, the other is solid. gotta watch out for it.
