quick question

i was wandering what should be my first electrical upgrade. i want to get a h/o alt. i also want to do the big three. should i wait to do the big three until i get the h/o alt? or should i just run a extra battery to the back then do the other stuff? i want to run a ma audio hk4000 or a mm4000.

my opinion is Big 3 now, then upgrade your front battery, then depending on the amperage of the alternator you have now, add a battery, and then a H/O alt.

reason being is cost, do the things that will make a big improvement at the least cost and then work your way up. you may find you don't need to do everything, big three and a deep cycle battery may take care of it.

you will get some debate on whether or not the battery in trunk will come before H.O. alt

When you do the big three also put a 0 gauge from negative directly to a different spot on the engine block it helped my voltage .3 on top of the big three.
