ok, so i was settin up a friends system and i ran out of 0/1ga. i had enough to reach the distro but not enough to go to the amp. question is, will 2 runs of 4ga be good enough until we can get another piece of 0/1ga? i think so, but want to be sure

should be fine, no problem. as long as current load isn't more than about 240 amps.
