quick question

Ive been wonderin about the box calculator on reaudio.com. All their designs are based on the port being on one side. If i wanted my port to be in the middle, could I break down the port length into two parts???? When the port is on one side, it makes a 90 degree angle. So, if i put the port in the middle and make the port length break off into opposite directions, will the box stay tuned at the freq.???? I need to know asap.... Thanx

I believe port length has to be all one run, so a "T" shaped port would not create the same effects as an "L" shaped one.

I may not be understanding you though... sketches?
