when connecting the positive wire from the alternator to the positive terminal on the front battery is it okay to go straight to the terminal or does it need to pass through the voltage regulator?

I put mine strait but I have a stock alt.

yeah mine is seperate. so im wondering if i go straight from alt to term will my alt send my batt like 18V's and mess somethings up?

do you have a DMM? if you do, see what the pos post of the alt is putting out.

yeah it was about to go away ha, but yea i have a dmm. so i just stick to pos dmm post in the pos alt and ground the neg dmm post?
