Quick question on setting gain..

when i set it, wut should i put for the controls of the headunit (bass, mid, treble). they all go from -6 to +6. If i set them all at 0, and then moved the bass to +6 while i was driving, would it screw things up. Or once i set the gains, i shouldn't move the dials? thanks

once you set your gains you can adjust your h/u controls as you wish.

this may a newb question but when setting gains do u have to have that thing (dont know what they call it) that measured volts or somethin. i was reading that tutorial and was wondering if I could to it anyother way without that piece of equipment.

lol--its called a multi-meter-and ppl say you can set it by ear but its not reliable in my opinion--best thing to do is follow the tutorial. multi-meters are very reasonable--you can pick one up from Wal-mart for like 10-20 bucks.
