Quick question on JL audio

Can get a 13.5" JL Audio W3V3 sub, JL audio XD 600/1 amp (along with the amp wiring kit), and a custom built ported box installed for $850 at a local JL Audio authorized dealer.

Is this a good deal?

Actually, for JL Audio gear (new & installed by an authorized dealer) that's not too bad. But it's still way too much money for what you get.

You can get an FI Q 15, MB Quart Onyx 1000, Knukonceptz 1/0ga wiring kit, and a custom box for the same amount of money. The Onyx isn't quite as nice as the XD, but it's still a great amp for the money, and more powerful. Besides that, there will be no comparison.

Look around a little before you go and spend that much on JL... I was dumb too and went in to are local place before I knew anything and did a whole JL system and realy wish I hadnt now
