Quick question about ohm load.

do I test both terminal cups on the box? And do I test with the music playing? If so, does it matter how loud my music is playing? What number would read on my dmm that would tell me if my 2 subs are 4 ohm or 2 ohm?

Can I just stick the + and - terminals on the dmm to the red and black caps on the box terminals so that I don't have to disconnect the wire?

I just tested the ohm load again with a dmm by sticking the dmm needles into the red and black speaker wire caps on the terminal cups and I got 1.2 ohms for each sub. they are kicker cvr subs but I'm not sure what ohm load. can you tell me what ohm load?
