Quick question about ohm load.

connect them to the terminal cup on the sub box

nothing on the amp...off the box you have one or two sets of speaker wire coming from the box to the amp....attach the dmm to those...

disconnect the subs from the amp and take a reading that reading will tell us what sub u have and what ur options are but as stated in ur other post "you need a different amp to run those subs"

do I test both terminal cups on the box? And do I test with the music playing? If so, does it matter how loud my music is playing? What number would read on my dmm that would tell me if my 2 subs are 4 ohm or 2 ohm?

yes thats fine. DO NOT have your system on when you test it, it can hurt the meter.

I got a reading of my ohms. I got 1.2 on one cup and 2.5 on another cup..so what ohm are my subs?

I just tested the ohm load again with a dmm by sticking the dmm needles into the red and black speaker wire caps on the terminal cups and I got 1.2 ohms for each sub. they are kicker cvr subs but I'm not sure what ohm load. can you tell me what ohm load?
