quick question about my Kenwood KDC-mp435u

So when I have my Creative Vision:M hooked up via USB, it only lists folders (folder 1, folder 2, etc.) and not artists or names of playlists on my head unit. Only after the playlist/artist starts playing will it list the artist/song name. Is there a way to name the folder or get it to show the name of the artist instead of just a folder number so I can see what I am about to play?

(Oh and my Creative just broke so I can replace it with a Zune or something else if someone recommends it for this head unit, otherwise I will just get another Creative.)
