Quick port question

Does it matter whether or not the subs share the vent? Most plans on here, the two subs share 1 vent with minimal baffles(that Ive seen so far) but in all the audio stores ive been into, the both subs have their own vent and it is in the middle rather than on the outside.

So as long as the box I plan on building is set to the specs i need (4 cubic feet and about 35hz) I should be fine?

Im running 2 10" Xplods inside a '92 Nissan Sentra if you have any suggestions for my specs.
