Quick Pioneer P980BT questions...

I think the 800 is the next level for the serious tuners who really know what they're doing with the active capability and left/right EQ. If you're taking it to that level, running active, and know what needs to be done on each channel to get it right it's worth every penny in my opinion and I would have done it. If you're looking for the gadgetry and just some basic eq functions to get you more control over the sound but you're not planning to run active or get that in depth with the tuning I think a 16 band graphic and basic time alignment function is more than enough to make a big difference. I just went for the 980BT over the 800 because I wanted an EQ and time alignment but also BT and IPOD and anything more than that would have been stuff Id just spend alot of time not being able to get right.
