Hey guys I was just wondering mostly but when looking at the specs of some subs It will say for example 2ohm DVC but then below say 1.5ohms/coil. Does that mean thats the actual resistance of the speaker, but just labeled as a 2ohm? If so, then when wired to an amp would it show maybe .75 or 3 ohms depending on wiring? I know its a retarded question but I was just wondering.

That correct but you gotta give a specific example for us to know what exactly you want to know about.....but yes some subs have funky voice coils like 1.5ohmsx2
