quick EQ question

if i have the input gain down -6db on my audiocontrol EQX, wont i be able to boost a frequency or two +6 db without getting a clipping signal?? does it depend on how wide the boost of 6 db is?

Should be able to. Though, if you have to boost a frequency by 6db, you have some issues you need to work out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Shouldn't need to excessively boost frequencies.

No, as it's peak will still only be 6db.
