Quick Deadning Question

I'm ready to start deadning the cab of my truck. As i started taking off the panels I noticed these. They are some type of vents. Question is do i leave them alone or go over them with the RAMMAT

those are so annoying, i have a set of them on each side of my trunk in the back next to each wheel well, with the trunk open you hear this obscene rattling noise and those are it, feel like ripping them out

So did you guys go over them with deadning material?

i took mine out....put a peice of metal down...and deadened over it.

not good to do unless you feel like putting your window down everytime you shut the door....its not a smart thing to do.just go around them...they are there for a reason.

Ya that's what I thought, I might just go over a couple of them.

just take them out and put some thin strips of weatherstripping around the hole and put them back in.. it should eliminate the rattle
