quick carpeting question

after i seal off my trunk from the cabin (subs are firing into cabin where seats fold down) i plan to carpet it. my question is if i trim the carpet right to the edge of the cutout holes, will that cause a problem with air leaking around the subs when they are mounted because the carpet is pourous?

Do you use the tape to attach the carpet or the driver gasket?

no.

when you tighten the sub down nice and secure - it will scrunch that carpet up like pulling a wedgie up your *** and trying to take a dump.

just not gonna happen.

so just slap the sub in, predrill all the holes, and put your screws\tnuts\fastener on there and make it nice and snug.
