Quick Big 3 Question

If I'm running the ground wires from my amps back to the negative battery terminal instead of just running it to a bolt on the frame or body, do I need to upgrade the wire that goes from the chassis to (-) battery terminal or can I just leave it?

Nothing wrong with leaving it as is, that ground was engineered to operate the vehicle and it's stock electrical system. If you have the spare wire, upgrade it, nothing wrong with a larger guage ground wire.

Yeah that's what I thought. That smaller ground wire is used to ground out all the cars electrical shit. And my amps are grounded directly to the battery with 1/0 wire so they're taking care of. Now I just have to find out where that engine block to frame wire is, I've looked and can't find it yet lol.

They say you can use the "brackets for the alternator" as a engineblock-chassis upgrade. So pick a bolt on the bracket..

yeah I guess that makes sense seeing as the alternator is bolted to the block. Thanks.
