Quick amp question, amp shuts off....

Hey my friend was asking me why his amp shuts off. I was wondering if any of you could help.. He just runs 2 12 inch MTX subs off of some Jensen amp. It's worked fine for like a month or so. Now he says that when he turns his truck on the amp comes on for a seconds and then cuts out and it's off. Just goes off completely. Can anyone help out? Thanks!

He said they're all good... asked if maybe something's wrong with his remote wire.

How are his subs wired? How many channels is the amp? He could have been running the amp at a load lower than what it's capable of and eventually just crapped out.
