Quick ? About Subs

I was wonderin if i got 2ohm 10 l7 would it be fine to be hooked up to sx1250.1 or 4 ohm is better or easier wats the difference for these.plz some1 tell me

Hooking up either sub will be exactly the same process. That amp can be run with an ohm load of 1, 2, or 4 ohms. The lower the ohm load, the more power you can get out of it. So if you are choosing between a 2 ohm or a 4 ohm sub, then go for the 2 ohm. You will get about 625 watts at 2 ohms. You will get only 312 watts at 4 ohms, and if you can get a 1 ohm sub you can get about 1250 watts from that amp. Those numbers are what Kicker claims, not exact readings. I assume these subs you're talking about are single voice coil? Sorry, I don't know too much about mainstream brands.

ok.the 10 L7 is 2ohm so 2 of those would mean each sub would be gettin 625 per sub.rite?

Pretty sure all L7s are DUAL voice coils... In that case, you would want to get 2 dual 4 10s to achieve a 1 ohm load... If you are only getting one woofer, then get a dual 2 ohm 10, that way you can get a 1 ohm load and drop all the power on it (not sure if it can handle it, but if you're easy on the gain then it can).
