What iam trying to do is add another set of tweeters for rear, I have 2 channels open on another amp but I only have 6 channels on my hu I have fronts rears and subs so I was wondering if I use y adapters to use the high pre out to control both the extra tweets and fronts. Will that work and how would I go about doing that

The best way to do this without having control on your head unit is an Accent Fill system: AF-256/020

You should set a high pass filter on the amplifier, but the crossover is adjustable for blending in with the existing rear speakers, plus you get the L-pad to precisely dial in the level of the 2" mid/tweeters. This is a much better solution than adding tweeters with Y-splitters.

But I don't have 250.00 though,I am just looking at a more cost effective option, but I would love to do that

Yeah tweets are good in front, I just want some for rear BC there are no highs in rear
Do you have mids in the rear? That is why I asked why you wanted tweeters in the back. Tweeters alone will do very little, so if you're trying to get louder add mids or coax's in back...
