Hi.
I have been told by a few people that cheaper bottom of the line head units get dirty and dusty inside very easily and scratch cd-rs alot easier.
My head unit is a kdc-mp243 (Bottom of the line kenwood) and my cd-r's get tiny scratches on them after use in the head unit.

I wouldnt be worried about it, but then was told that cd-r's with small scratches or dirty marks make the audio quality sound bad. Is this true? Do cd-r with small scratches on them play music that is not as clear (Clear and loud) as it would be if the cd was not scratched. I Burn all my cd's with 320 kbps and have not had a problem until now. Today it sounded like the audio quality was worse, lyrics harder to hear, etc.
Thanks.
