Def check your voltage with a DMM to make sure, but if you are getting no voltage drops, then it's most likely not your electrical system at all.
You still havnt told us your box specs...

oh sorry it is 14x20x16 but after 14 up in the front it goes on an angle to the top... also i built a thing on the inside to take out some of the airspace... overall with the subs the airspace is 2.2 ft3

So you took apart the box and cut 1.5 inches off the sides?

Was the box glued up? Are you sure it's completely sealed now?

There is the problem right there. Honestly sealed is going to lack behind in output, and the way the subs are mounted may couse some cancellation on the inside, and the box looks too small. I didnt calculate it to see the size, but it looks too small. I would suggest getting a larger box, and if you can go ported at rec. size. Tune low to retian sq of the Q's. Also, make sure the +'s of both subs are the same, make sure one is not inverted.
