probably about 600-700w, you have to take into consideration how much power is being sucked up by your factory electrical like headlights; heat; guages; etc......This is just a rough estimate though, there are many formulas to determine the ACTUAL output of your amp using a stock alt.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

he means watts. your putting out about 780 watts after you figure all your electrical drain from everything else. thats about 780 and only if thats true power, which usually with kicker it is.

it will keep your electrical system charged better and keeping a better constant voltage. so one you will not have as big of drain on you electrical system, two not as big of voltage drops if any, so in a way yes, but its not going to give you your full 1000 some watts. best thing to do if you want everything is to upgrade your alternator. but big three would help and be cheaper

So how much would this cost me and i know its expensive to get in installed so im hoping i can do it myself the alt. is like hidden n looks hard to get at

you have to take the passenger side wheel well cover off to get to the alt. it doesn't look like fun.
