I've decided to install my crossovers in the trunk so they are easily accessible. The only drawback to this is double the speaker wire. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Everyone says to run speaker wire and rca's along the opposite side of the power. I will be running my power along the passenger side. My speaker wire/rca will run along the driver side. If i do this, one set of speaker wires will be roughly ~6' longer than the other as it will have to travel from drivers side across to passenger side. Will this cause any delay in sound? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Is there a better way to do this that I'm somehow overlooking?

Thanks!

no it should not cause any delay..

No, the electrons (sound) travels down the speaker wire at the speed of light. If the cable were over a mile long, you still wouldn't notice any delay. You would have to wrap the wire around the entire planet a few times to notice a delay.

Speed of light = 186,282.397 miles per second or 983,571,056.4 feet per second
