Alright so i have a 150a fuse in my hood, and then in my trunk i have a stinger hpm series dist block with a 80a fuse inside of that..now the power from my battery to the dist. block is 4 gauge, and then the power from the dist. block to the amp is 8 gauge..would i get more power if i just removed the dist. block (Cause im only running 1 amp anyways), and run the main power to the amp? Also do i need all that many fuses? I have 2 12" Niche Audio Comp. series subs, on a niche audio na101e amp..thanks

will the 4 gauge fit in your amps power terminals? Also are you planning on adding more amps in the future? if so then it would be easier to just leave it in. I hink you can get away with it but having another fuse will make it safer.
