question qhat 12's to get

i brought my car to a shop a long time ago to get a jenson lxa400 (http://www0.shopping.com/xPF-Jensen-LXA400) amp hooked up along with 2 12 inch jenson 120 sub's both were givin to me but now the subs have blown and i am unsure what 12in subs to get because the amp says 400 watts but on the back of the subs they say 120, so im wondering if the subs i have were over powered

okay thanks ill still stick with the free amp that works tho, anyone else know what i should do about what peak watt subs to get?

I'd say see what cheap subs you can find like maybe some rockfords or on that line. your not gonna have to worry about blowing subs because to much power more like underpowering them and themblowing because dirty signal power.

I ran these for a long time and they sounded good for a cheaper sub IMO
