Question on slope...

Don't know where this thread should go cause it deals with amps, HU, and speakers. But, the manual for the SLC 265's say to cross them over at 80hz with a 12db slope. How do I know what slope I'm at? I have a cda-9857 and a nine.4 bridged.

its about not sending low lows to your speakers 12 db slope 18 or 24 its not uber important , just dont send tons of bass to your speakers. x over @ 80 or 100 and your good for now

yea i planned on corssing them over at 80hz. I read on another forum there was a way to set your crossover with a dmm, something about when the voltage reaches half of what it should be (don't know what it shoudl be), then its set at that particular point. Not really clear on this method.
