All right it breaks down like this:

A while back I installed an Aiwa HU, Sony 32x2 amp, (2) Pioneer 4x6's and (2) Pioneer 6x9's in my car. Now a week or so ago I bought a 200x2 amp and 2 RF HE-2 12" to drop in along with the original setup. Problem is that my HU only has one set of Pre Amp outputs. I know all about using Y- adapters and crossovers however If I split the signal will both amps get enough pre amp volts?

i also had the same problem as you

i had a alpine 7856 cd player with

one set of rca preouts this is what i did

i purchased a audiocontrol 24xs electronic crossover. it has one

set of rca inputs and two set of rca outputs(front and rear)

just plug in your rca from your headunit to the rca input

on the 24xs then use the rca output from the 24xs

to your amps. example -- (front output to the amp

that runs your mid and highs.

rear output-- to the amp that runs your subs .
